( Pages with a poll, Working Group )

In the Linked Earth context, a working group (WG) is a self-organized coalition of knowledgeable experts who elaborate and discuss the components of a data standard for their specific sub-field. This page is dedicated to the discussion of data and metadata standards for marine sedimentary archives, and aims to formulate a set of recommendations for such a standard.

Each WG page needs the following elements: - A list of the various group Members, with link to social profiles, date joined, avatars if they have one, # of contributions to the wiki, and expertise - Polls on specific questions. Note that some polls will be common to several WGs - A history (e.g., table with dates and content of discussions)

Here are two example polls:

For NEW DATASETS:

Do you endorse X, Y Z as the three (and only three) essential metadata fields for datasets derived from this archive type ?
You are not entitled to vote.
